日本生体磁気学会では理事として本学会の運営に尽力した．

IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering誌とBrain Topography誌のアソシエイトエディターとしてこれらの雑誌の円滑な運営とインパクトファクターを含む評価の向上に寄与することを通じて世界の脳計測・脳機能イメージング分野の発展に寄与した．
