While searching for Postgraduate Design programs in Japan, I found TMU’s Spatial Design Studio with a unique integration of design, art, and architecture. Studying at TMU has been much more than academics. Every course I’ve taken during the master’s program has added something new to my creative process. The guidance from my supervisor (Associate Professor Verl Adams) has been incredibly enriching, serving as a key factor in shaping my professional direction. My classmates’ work has been truly inspiring, and at the same time, I’ve had the chance to build invaluable friendships. Studying abroad has also nurtured my personal formation, with new experiences, meeting people from different countries and learning not only about Japan but also in a global way. I am excited to put into practice this new personal facet that I have been able to form at TMU.

Title of the work: The Wind Leaves Tracks.
Work presented for the Advanced Course of Media Art. Exploration of inks and textiles. Installation. This project explores the sensory qualities of space through the interaction between textiles, light, and movement. Inspired by personal memories and a fascination with ephemeral boundaries, the piece reflects on the delicate traces left by moments in passing.
