  1. 東京都庁と東京都産業技術研究センターとの連携も含め、本学の新大都市リーディングプロジェクト基金「サービスロボットのインキュベーション基地の開発事業」として、「サービスロボットインキュベーションHUB」という拠点を設置し、研究開発を行った。
  2. 東京都のICT先進都市・東京のあり方懇談会委員、生活・活動支援分科会長として活動を行った。
委員等(民間団体・学術団体)

  1. 首都圏西部イノベーション推進協議会において、複数の大学と連携しながら,「地域コミュニティの質と安心を高める情報・通信・ロボット技術の体系化とシステムの構築」に関する重点プロジェクトのワーキンググループをリーダーとして組織するとともに、多摩地区における産業の活性化に関する議論を行った。また、サービスロボットインキュベーションHUBの組織を強化し、複数の企業との共同研究を実施し、多くのセミナーやシンポジウムを開催した。その他、年間を通して、10社以上の企業からの技術相談を受けた。
委員等(学会活動)

  1. 学会組織運営では、システム制御情報学会では評議員、自動車技術会エレクトロニクス部門会幹事、計測自動制御学会編集委員、日本機械学会ロボメカ部門運営委員などを担当した。また、実行委員長として8月に本学で国際会議ICIRA2016を開催した他、IEEEの国際会議などにおいて、各種委員長を務めた。学術論文、国際会議論文の査読を30件以上行った。
